Note: for some reason my first posting of this project can cancelled without explanation by the site admin. Note to site admin.: improve your communications!
I have two background color picker programs combined into one. One program displays the 216 web friendly colors and the other consists of three primary color sliders in order to allow a very large variety of colors.
There are two problems with the color slider bar program that I need corrected:
1. This program uses old Microsoft IE [login to view URL] commands that are incompatible with other browsers such as Firefox. These need to be replaced with appropriate [login to view URL]() calls.
2. I need a text box displaying the current hex background color value where it states: "Slider bar value:";
Please note that I am only offering $20.00, a great review, and advanced notification/preference on other jobs I post. This shouldn't take much more than 1/2 hour and the final fixed version is yours to do as you please with. It is actually quite nice and useful in helping determine the most appropriate background colors to use on a website.
Note the 216 color box chooser works with all browsers but currently the slider bar portion only works with IE (up to v7).
I have uploaded the code in a zip file.
What is included:
[login to view URL] - the entire program;
[login to view URL] - for the slider bar buttons;
[login to view URL] - for each cell in the 216 color chooser;
Do not bid on this project unless you fully understand and can convert from [login to view URL] calls to the appropriate [login to view URL]() calls.
