Looking for an Artist - Characters, Items, Pets

It's time to re-imagine the 2D browser game experience! I believe that there is an open spot in this niche market for a giant to come into play, challenging the relics of their time such as Neopets and Gaia Online. To that end, I need a heavily customized website and artists. While I have the story, structure, and idea in mind, I do not have the artistic and coding skills needed to bring it to life on my own. That's where you come in! Simplistic design has been tried and true, as well as the ability to customize a vision of yourself along the way. People will start out with and be able to customize their own avatar. A simple sample of what I'm looking for in terms of basic ability are as follows: - Various humanoid races - Custom and pre-designed skin markings - Apparel - Wings - Companions - Item layering - Custom banners for on-site visual appeal and off-site advertising - Landscapes / Cities Just to name a few of the very basic feature pieces. This is a large, long-term project, and will eventually receive its own Kickstarter once some work has been done into it. Prior to that, I am funding out of my own pocket. I also want to acquire my domain name before I throw that around, which will be a month or two down the line depending on how the sale goes or if it falls through, plenty of time to build up something to show the investors. The current budget is my starting fee for laying out the site and getting it up and running. Following that, I'm hoping for a long-term partnership expanding on various races, new monthly items, and future events down the road. For those interested, I'd love to see some mock up ideas that you have in regards to any of the above mentioned things, or even a design of your own!
