Hi ramivesco, I have experience working on social networking type of website that looks like fusion between twitter and facebook. Here is my approach for tasks this project desctiption: - User-to-user interaction: straightforward, I will add self-reference in User model and could easily create interaction between user objects. I will use devise for user authentication. - User profiles: straightforward. I will use carrierwave to handle upload and user could upload avatar to his profile. - Social streaming: I could make the live social streaming page using faye so it will be updated without need to refresh the page. - I will use Postgres and could set up the demo in heroku. Could you explain what was you mean by 'database management'? For design, I will use twitter bootstrap.
