Stories could be produced in a form of individual illustrated pages with a very simple animation and flash presentation for online use. Flash work could be as simple as pan and zoom effect with simple and primitive flash animation such as character movement or scaling. However, there must be a well balance between illustration and animation. Meaning that if the illustrations are very simple then the movement and animation needs to compensate for it. Or if the illustrations are rich and complex then animation would be to its minimal. The stories are normally about 400 to 500 words and the test will be displayed at the bottom of the animation with Karaoke style highlighting and synchronizing with the story narration. You could do Karaoke style text highlighting and synchronization with Flash or other online applications (ask me if you have any questions about this). The text needs to be supplied to the flash in xml or txt format so it could easily be replaced or edited. I will supply the narration file (in MP3 format) and you are asked to do the rest.
