Link Spreadsheet with External Website

I would like to exchange information between one of my Excel spreadsheets and a freight company's website. My spreadsheet computes a product cost. I need to add the freight cost to the product cost so that I can send a quote to our customers. After I create the product cost I would have the necessary inputs to send to the freight company. I would like to click a button in the spreadsheet and have this information sent to the freight company website and have it send back the freight quote outputs. This would be done in the background; not visible to the user. I would prefer to have this accomplished with a macro within Excel. I would eventually use this macro in many different spreadsheets.
