Require a very simple code to do the following.
I have 2 workbooks. "[login to view URL]" and "[login to view URL]"
[login to view URL] has multiple rows with data across 30 columns like Name, Age, Height, Sex, etc etc. That data needs to be pasted to specific cells in template.xlsx.
For eg. Value of Name in row 1 to be pasted in D3, Value of Age to be pasted in F5,.and such predefined cell locations in template. I should be able to define which cell gets pasted where in the template sheet.
The sheet that contains this data ( name, age etc) also has Sr Nos. So this is what i require.
Macro will,
1. Make multiple copies of [login to view URL] and rename them as Sr No.xlsx. ([login to view URL], [login to view URL] and so on based on Sr no.)
In a batch it will be like
copy d:\test\[login to view URL] d:\test\[login to view URL]
copy d:\test\[login to view URL] d:\test\[login to view URL]
copy d:\test\[login to view URL] d:\test\3.xlsx.... and so on..
2. Open [login to view URL]
3. Copy data from first row of [login to view URL] and paste it to the [login to view URL] (all 30 cells)
4. Save the file, close the file.
