I will use a I2C sample code from Sensirion SHT21 to complete your requeriments. I will calculate T and RH. You could use any port of 16F877A.

I had used STh21 with Microchip 16 bit Dspic33fj256gp710, foe Industrial project. Unfortunately i am unable to let you the view of code due to signed NDA. If Project awarded than i have to just shift the code from Dspic33fj to PIC16f877a. I had written the Code to use STH21 in both Hold master and NO hold master. to let you know that i had worked on STH21 i am mentioning few points. Start Sequence SCL = High, SDA High to Low Data Transfer Trigger T measurement 11100011 Trigger RH measurement 11100101 STH21 Acknowledge byte transfer by pulling SDA pin Low. Hope you get my point. It will take lesser time as i don't have to start from scratch just have to modify present code
