Hello, I have been working with Verilog and VHDL based FPGA design. I have communicated data from FPGA to PC through pure HDL UART controlled through HDL state machine as well as through soft-core peripherals. We can use JTAG UART if available or we have to use external modules to convert digital (3.3v) signals to USB based virtual COM port on PC. Looking forward to your positive response. Best regards.
