We have a website that is in production that requires an update to Prestashop 8.x from 1.6 so we can take advantage of features, security updates and PHP7 speed improvements. We expect anyone with a good knowledge of Prestashop should find this project fairly straight forward. We have a technical team here who can assist where required, but our main area of concern is the data migration piece. Currently the site is using Prestashop version 1.6.0. We can provide a test environment for the job. We would like it to be done as soon as possible. The winner will likely continue working with us for the foreseeable future on other projects. IMPORTANT - We currently have very good SEO rankings for many pages in Google. For this reason we want special care to be taken with respect to maintaining URLs and other factors that could hinder our performance. Anyone with experience of this would be highly beneficial. What we (our team) will do: - Set up of new server - Install Prestashop v8 - Install and configure theme - Styling What you (the developer) will do: - Review the existing site, categories and product structure - Migrate ALL historic data (customers, orders, addresses, products, categories) - Ensure current structured data markup is migrated on all products - Maintain/map order statuses. - Migrate CMS pages. - Install and validate modules (there are only a couple we use, the main one being "Canonical URLs to Avoid Duplicate Content - SEO") - Test checkout process and fix any bugs (we use Stripe) We want to commence this project immediately and hope to have this project complete before the close of May.

Ok Prestashop Expert with PHP/MYSQL Core Expert and PHP 7/8 Expert too. 1) New Prestashop with new theme default will be installed.
