German publisher of academic books is looking for someone who converts our books in epub-format. We would provide the pdf-file (print version) plus – if needed – the imagefiles contained in the book in their original version. We would need an epub-file which is produced to work on multiple platforms. Quite a number of our books contain a high number of images and tables. The estimated volume of epubs needed is between 80 to 200 per year. Please make a bid for this test project: 236 pages, 60 images, 20 tables. It is important that you imply in your bid how much you charge in relation to number of pages, images and tables – so that we have a basis for calculating how much our other projects would cost.

I have experience with both pdf and epub formats, and see no problem in converting your texts at reasonable speeds. I also spent 4 years in secondary school learning German, so while I won't pretend to be fluent anymore I will be able to understand a lot of what I'm converting for you, as well. For the 230 page text I ask for $60, which comes out to around 25 cents per page. Please PM me if you have any questions about my qualifications. The two day limit is for the test project. Hello! I curently work for a company that is specialized in pdf to epub conversion, so this is my everyday job. The experience i have is made of more than 100 epubs made from pdf or word for a Belgian publisher or the Publications Office (the publisher for the EU). For the test i can ask 65EUR, but i cannot make a general offer untill a see a sample of the work.
