Hi. I am an electronics Engineer by profession. I have implemented a similar project in an Arduino for reading energy meters. It was an MODBUS to MQTT converter for reading a defined set of Modbus registers. Therefore, I am very confident that I can help you to configure Advntech3600 hardware and RUT240router. In this scenario we will need both devices since the Advntech3600 has only Modbus. We will configure RUT240router as a Modbus to MQTT gateway. It will read Read data from Advntech3600 through Modbus and post that data to Azure. My experience with Azure is minimum. I will learn azure and implement your solution.
