Catalogue matching across spreadsheets

Project Title: Catalogue matching across spreadsheets Description: I am looking for a freelancer who can match product names (with no UPC codes, only manual descriptions) from one 9000ish-item spreadsheet (inventory) with those from a much larger spreadsheet consisting of 60000 Amazon ASINs. In some cases you won't be able to confidently make a match, and that's fine too. Accuracy is most important. Preferred Method for Matching: I would prefer manual matching for this project. An algorithm to match similar terms might help narrow things down, but the nature of the titles and the need for accuracy requires manual checking at some stage. The items are mostly pop culture related items, so a working knowledge of Western pop culture might help. For example, an item listed as "Star Trek TNG Badge" is different from "Star Trek Voyager Badge", and if you don't know what "TNG" means you would need to Google it to learn that it stands for "The Next Generation". This is just one example. Products belonging to many franchises are in the spreadsheets, and the abbreviations and differences vary. Number of Spreadsheets: There are 2 spreadsheets involved in this project. The freelancer will need to work with these spreadsheets and ensure the product names are correctly matched. Ideal Skills and Experience: - Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately match product names - Experience with working on spreadsheets and data entry - Familiarity with catalogues and product descriptions - Good organizational skills to manage and keep track of the matching process If you are interested in this project please reach out to me.
