DVD to MPEG

My project idea is for a piece of software that can convert any DVD to MPEG or AVI (and any other format which might be useful). There should also be an option to just capture the sound from a DVD. Compression utilities would be an advantage so that users can choose the quality level. I would like there to be an option to split the files into any size as it is reading the DVD, eg - so that the DVD can be split into 650Mb chunks to fit onto CD's when finished. Basically - I want a professional looking piece of software which will copy a DVD (of any size and region) to MPEG, AVI, etc easily and with very little fuss. The coder should have a very good eye for design and quality and able to work quickly. I would like coders to come forward with ideas for the programming language to use which would best fit my project. I am also open to any offers for the cost of the project. The coder should also offer any ideas that he/she thinks would make my project better. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP Windows 2000 (if possible)
