Tweakness of Webservice for Email Validation

Regonline use external authentication in order to verify membership. our old programmer did a great job and he finished the task about 95% success. Its about a web service sort of application that is prepared to communicate with regonline.com. The programming language used for this assignment is C# / ASP (Dot Net) The requirement of regonline is that the services should be called through HTTPS not HTTP. the existing service is working fine with HTTP but showing error when we call it through HTTPS.
