Modify Existing Gallery2 (Menalto) Theme With Jquery/Ajax (No refresh when clicking next)

I need help in modifying an existing Menalto Gallery2 theme (called ICE; this is a freely available theme) with some jquery capabilities. I need the following capabilities: - modify the photo page ([login to view URL]) with jquery/ajax so that when a user clicks next, prev, or on any thumbnail, the next appropriate image is displayed WITHOUT refreshing the entire page. I need the address bar to update to the new address as well so that users can go back, AND existing links would not be modified at all as they are set up perfectly for SEO purposes. - currently there is a bug in the ICE template where clicking the current image does not take you to the next image unless you are logged in (no tag created for some reason).
