Used BT for BP and ECG, Scales (load cell and mag compensation) designed for many years, you have to mention min. weight i.e. number of digit and accuracy, Tare and calibration from instrument weigh reading via BT.

Thank you for updates ! Now the electronics is clear. I still wonder about the mechanics. May be can be implemented into a ready scale found on market. If need a completely new design than please specify the desired size, shape. I have placed just a dummy bid. The electronic is not a question, but could you tell me please some more details about mechanics ? What is the expected size ? It need any local interface, buttons or display or all just controlled by Bluetooth ? Do you have any imagination about the shape, a hand drawing is welcome. Please let me know the above details.

We have a small team of three members with experienc of more than 15 man years. We have expertise in devloping ultra low power devices with best in class performance and area. We have recently Devloped and Delivered a project which was low power rf switch targeted for battery life of arnd year which we had finished with extra life of couple of months on top of the target. In additon to these we have been experience of devloping ultra low power SOC and system around it for mobile processors, WIFI etc. We also have done projects involving interfaces bewteen PC/microcontroller etc for various application like Robots, Far end switches etc. In this project requirement is for making a weight scale which, insteda of displaying weight on some LCD, send data via bluetooth , which will be capture by some PC or mobile. We can use two (or four if area of scale is large) load cell based sensor to measure the weight which we will be connected to A/D of ultra low power microcontroller (something like Attiny*).This will activate bluetooths and send the data across. Configuration of these components can be tuned according to the exact requirement. Fow further lowering down the power, loadcell supply can be controlled and triggered once in while (few ms in one sec) to save power. I hope you would like my proposal for devloping this circuit. I have developed both weighing scale and bluetooth based products. I have more than 20 years of embedded systems development experience.

There are a few things you should be aware of. First of all, 1 year of battery is not realistic, you can not achieve that because batteries loose their charge even when they are not in use. A rechargeable battery would not be usable after a year without any charge. There are other details I can provide you, just PM me if you would like to discuss the project. Regards
