Users can browse content with a map (Google/Yahoo!) 2. Users can dynamically filter the content being seen with a tree filter (type of content) 3. Users can filter content based on map bounds and zoom level. 4. Users can create their own articles/content and link in Flickr photos, YouTube videos 5. All content will be geographically referenced (coordinates). Users will be provided with a map/crosshair type tool to set locations. 6. Users earn points and then credits based on some formulas for top earners. 7. Flickr authentication will be required 8. Users will register a single YouTube account name 9. There will be a digg-like commenting system 10. Users can post an ongoing mLog of where they are (like a light-weight journal where each entry is referenced to a location) 11. Advertising rules can be setup to display ads only for certain location/content type combinations 12. *.GPX GPS files can be uploaded and will need to be interpreted for length, duration, profile. 13. The UI must be very fluid with a minimum of refreshes. 14. Users can edit content using a WYSIWYG editor. 15. Photos/videos can be dragged into articles The mockups aren't a complete site representation but do cover the bulk of the project. I'm also interested to see if any of you know how to integrate a 3rd party hotel database into the system and then link that back to an affiliate system such as Travelocity, but this is not a project requirement at this point. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform
LAMP, possibly Ruby I need this to be an open-source platform based solution with a high-level of future scalability. Linux, Apache, mySQL, PHP (possibly Ruby, please detail preference/reasons). The final product must be cross browser compatible and must work in Firefox, IE6, IE7, Opera, Safari.
