Project objective: Provide experience with computer aided air conditioning load estimation and system selection and then submit a report. With given floor plan, do cooling load calculation for the area assigned and analysis of load profile. Comparative study of the energy performance of the system is needed in the selection process. Then determine which air appropriate all-air system to use (CAV or VAV) Compute the air conditioning load using Carrier E-20 II software. Analysis should include in the report: 1) Division of assigned areas into zones and load profile of each zone analysed 2) Selection of appropriate all air system( cav or vav) for the assigned area Justification to be presented in report based upon energy performance of system 3)Justification for the assumptions made in analysis and values selected for input file shall be given in report 4) calculations for equipment selection shall be shown in report If you are familiar with the software Carrier E20 II and Hourly Analysis Program, do apply for this project. I am very familiar with carrier hap software package. I have done many heat loads and simulations using this package, however i prefer the design builder and revit heat load and simulation packages. As an illustration i can provide you results from all 3 packages which will also be in the form of a 3d drawing. HAP has shortcomings
