Convert a oEmbed script over to Embed.ly to get Youtube videos URLs to embed correctly

Currently have a Business catalyst website that is running a WebApp for a Video Gallery that uses Youtube & Vimeo URL's to embed the videos using the original [login to view URL] embedding script. This oEmbed script was initially work fine when we started development, however in the last couple of days the Youtube videos have stopped displaying. The Vimeo videos are still working using this script so the script is not broken as such. I have since found out that Youtube seem to be now utilising the [login to view URL] concept to deliver their oEmbed service which is probably why the original oEmbed script is no longer effective - This is mainly because you need to have [login to view URL] "keys" included in the API calls (which requires an [login to view URL] account and their scripting to facilitate). Essentially because of the Youtube changes it looks like we now need to drop the [login to view URL] script and implement the [login to view URL] scripts ([login to view URL]) if we want both Youtube and Vimeo to work from one script. Embedly supports Vimeo as well so this is the logical solution. We have set up an [login to view URL] account however we need: A. someone who is comfortable with implementing the [login to view URL] jquery library, B. who is familiar with the Business Catalyst platform, and C. who can effectively convert our current oEmbed configuration over to the new [login to view URL] jquery library without loosing any of the current functionality - eg URL's are currently populated from a BC database that is created by user submitted forms. The pages in question were live for a short time but we have had to turn them off now until we find a resolution. However, I've attached some sample layout screenshots and html so you can get an idea of what is involved. There is a list view layout and a single detail view layout. (note: we are using css to hide / display divs dependent on whether a video is vimeo or youtube - this parameter is stipulated from the database).
