A web app similar to http://about.me for a different verical

1. Need a web app similar to [login to view URL] for a different vertical (don't need fancy images, like they have). 2. Landing page should be a very simple page with sign up, sign & search. 3. Sign up takes four fields : name, e-mail, username, password and on submitted should create the user account and take him to his page. Every user will have a unique web page : Steve will have a unique page called [login to view URL] 4. Sign will have 2 fields : userid or email & password and once signed in should take to the user's unique page. 5. Search should list users in an intuitive way (something in line with [login to view URL] search). Selecting a user from the list should take him to that user's page 6. Once a user goes to his page, he can upload his picture and add a few friends (just name, picture and some description). So a typical users page will have some details about him and his friends. Timeline : Need it in under 2 weeks Skills : Would prefer Java or Ruby on Rails, but open for php or any other skills as well. Would prefer usage of Jquery for UI elements to get slick/elegant look. Someone who has done something like this can show some examples would get highest consideration.
