We have 2 NASes (DS1823xs+ and DS720+) DS1823xs+ has 8 HDD with RAID5 Protection. Recently, the HDDs have been failing. 1st, 1 HDD failed, so I replaced that HDD with another. Then, while doing a RADI Resync, another HDD failed, so I replaced that too. Now, while Data Scrubbing 2 HDDs have failed. Question 1: I am still determining what is happening, but can anyone help me troubleshoot this while I wait for official support? I have a draytek 130 modem, and a synology MR2200AC router. I am trying to install at a friends house in Ilford on their vodafone network. This modem and router do work together according research, it is an openreach modem. I have plugged the modem into the vdsl microfilter, the modem works, according draytek, whom I have phoned whilst it is on. The router responds to a laptop, it says 'limited internet access'. Now I connected my mobile(4g data - outside the local network) to the same VPN server with different logins. I have set some rules in the OpenVPN server's Iptables and 1 static route in my router. which allows me to access the local IP of the NAS also I am able to access the default gateway of the router where the NAS is hosted which is 192.168.10.1.
