Doggy-Do Waste Removal - New Wordpress Website Design

Doggy-Do Waste Removal is a dog waste removal or "poop-scooping" company. We service both residential and commercial property, scooping and hauling away the poop. Our current website is [login to view URL] and I am simply not happy with it. I do not find it aesthetically pleasing and feel it needs a complete makeover. Some of the sites I do enjoy are ones with a centered column and a graphic background. An example of this would be [login to view URL] or www.yardsheriff.com. I really like the graphic background of both of these and would like to do something similar for my website. I will be glad to hire someone else to do the background as that is more graphics but I will need you to tell me the specifications. Our main company colors consist of blue and green. You can use this in your ideas to create a new design. Please do not base your new design off of our current one as far as aesthetics as I do not like our site visually one bit. The main criteria for choosing a designer will come down to who can show me a nice, visually appealing portfolio. I had considered using something from YooThemes as they seemed to have a nice platform and started to create a site over at www.dogpooptulsa.com. The site will need a total of 11 pages in all. The content which is already created for essentially all of them as we already have our existing site. This will mean we won't have to work as much as if it were a new site and can focus more on making it visually appealing. The 11 pages will be, in no particular order: Home, Blog, Gallery, Pricing, FAQ, Contact, Sign-Up, Directory/"Our Friends", Upcoming Events, Rescue Groups, Testimonials The home page will be the most unique page with the rest of the pages following a content/sidebar style. The homepage should have the following elements: Newsletter opt-in, service area map or graphic, social media links, fb news feed linked from page, current events (one feautred, linked to more), "What our customers say"(testimontals, click to read more), phone # at top of every page, graphic or text somewhere on page towards top advertising "As low as $9.75 a week!", visually appealing header with links The footer (every page) should have the following: sitemap, copyright, social media links, newsletter opt-in sidebar elements (all pages but blog): 1. newsletter opt-in, 2. blogroll, 3. current events, 4. social media links, 5. ad space sidebar (blog page only): 1. newsletter opt-in, 2. recent posts, 3. most popular posts, 4. search box, 5. social media links, 6. possible ad space the events page should follow a format similar to [login to view URL] the ad spaces should follow a format similar the ones on pages like this. I believe they use a plugin called "max-banner ads" [login to view URL] As you can see, I have a pretty good idea of the elements I want on the site itself. My main focus is making something visually appealing that is easily editable for me in the future. I had someone design a site based on optiontree in the past. Do NOT use this.
