I have an event in September and I wanted to run some Facebook and Twitter campaigns. However, a marketing specialist told me that they did an analysis/assessment of my site ([login to view URL]) and strongly advised me to sort out all the issues on my website BEFORE running any campaign because it would reduce the effectiveness of the campaigns - the point being to get people to buy tickets to the event from my site. They said that the 7 main things wrong with my site were: *No contact details in the header (preferably clickable contact details) *No Call To Action in the header (or clear CTAs in the website itself) *No keyword-rich headlines explaining what we do, who we do it for and our USPs *No Facebook Conversion Tracking Pixel *No Google Analytics Tag *No Google Remarketing Tag *No SEO Overall, it is just a poorly designed website that does not do its job. More specifically, the comments were: These are things I'd recommend getting on with, in priority order: Website: - Install Google Analytics - Prominent interactive, contact information in right header space - Social Media icons in header space - Clear, visible CTA contact form above the fold (Subscribe) - Add relevant, informative business text piece, above the fold - Install live call / chat widget to increase leads and engagement (not a 'Live-Chat'. Something which responds to FAQs) - Optimise all landing / product pages for conversion - Interactive drop down option menu for easier navigation - Mobile Performance / Responsive SEO: - Fully optimise titles & URLs - Fully optimise all META descriptions - Strategic Keyword targeting and research - Build HIGH authority Backlinks (Directories, SEO PR, etc., Video ) PPC (Paid) ONLY with the updated website!!!! - Google Ads - Facebook conversion tracking pixel - Maximise ROI with Facebook remarketing Applicants will need to: 1) Do their own assessment of my website and tell me what other things will do to make my website campaign-ready. 2) Give examples of websites they have designed that effectively drive visitors to make purchases (These may be in your portfolio). 3) Show me examples of websites they have designed that rank highly on Google (These may be in your portfolio). 4) Tell me if there are any of the tasks I have listed that they cannot / will not be able to complete. I am looking for a long-term relationship as I need someone who can continue to do the SEO for this and one other website.
