Company Overview Fun Raising Dogs (FRD) is a social enterprise striving to improve the lives of dogs across India, where we have an estimated 20 million pet dogs and 40 million stray dogs. And though pet & stray dogs have vastly different needs, at FRD, we have stacked together two related strategies, which in conjunction will enable us to meet the unique needs of pets as well as stray dogs. FRDs Product Strategy - create and sell highly competitive, engaging and thoughtfully designed dog-centered toys to facilitate pet wellbeing, FRDs Grant Strategy: consolidate 100% of the profits earned from sales into a market-driven animal welfare fund that supports highly effective & accountable stray welfare programs related to health and public education, via strategic partnerships with underfunded animal welfare entities (NGOs, rescuers, municipal governments) We are a registered section 8 company, whereby we are legally liable to use 100% of our earned profits exclusively in the pursuit of social welfare activities.
