Web Based Template Selection Feature

I am building an email marketing tool similar to MailChimp, ConstantContact, or iContact. I will be doing most of the development myself but I am looking for a freelancer to build the template selection feature only (not the campaigns or other features) with the following requirements: Requirements - User to be able to select a template from a range of, say 20 templates. A template will basically be an outline of a structure with paragraph sections and boxes representing where images would be placed. - In addition to templates, there will also be ready themes to select from. These are similar to templates but will be pre-populated with content (text and images) - When a template is selected, the user will be able to customise it by clicking on an element (for example a paragraph section) and will be presented with a rich text editor in which they can type the content, style it, etc. The use of JQuery here is necessary for a pleasant user experience. - Similarly, the user will be able to click an image placeholder and upload an image into that slot. The image must resize to fit correctly within the allocated slot. - In addition to text and images, the feature should allow for the insertion of social media icons and links. - Elements can be added to a template or removed from a template by the means of Drag & Drop. - Other than the above, there should be controls for managing the over HTML of the template such as body colour, fonts, sizes of the headers, etc etc… - The user must be able to save the template at any point and refer to it later. - There needs to be a 'Preview' mode with 2 panels to see how the final template will look like both on a desktop and a mobile phone - The template code must be fully mobile responsive DEVELOPMENT APPROACH You will be required to build this feature so that it can be integrated as a module in a larger system that is being developed by me. So you will build it with your own choice of programming language (php, asp.net, ColdFusion, Ruby, etc…) and your own choice of database (MySQL, MSSQL, Access), but after I take over from you, I will need to convert it to my own programming language and database choice. We may need to work together later on that aspect. The HTML for the templates to be stored in the database. The same goes for saved templates which are customised by the user and extensive JQuery and Ajax needs to be used to facilitate, things like drag and drop, file upload, saves etc with the least amount of page refreshing. GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS You are free to either build this from scratch or use an existing solution and customise it. There are already some ready-made templates out there on [login to view URL] which function quite similarly to what I have described, but they are all based on one single template. What I need is to be able to select from a choice of templates, customise and then save for future reference. If you believe you are able to use an existing solution or theme and build this from there, then by all means do so. You are strongly encouraged to review the feature of some of the sites out there (MailChimp, ConstantContact, or iContact) to get a good feel of how this works. I have attached screenshots from MailChimp as a general guidance, but you are free to use other references, styles as long as the final product is user friendly, intuitive, flexible and visually appealing and professional.
