Robust Brain MRI image segmentation and 3D reconstruction in Matlab

Project 's Objective: In this modern technology world medical field has been given a higher priority because of its sensitiveness. There are different technique to find out many of the disease using image like MRI, CT, PET and microscopy The main objective of our project is the segmentation of human brain MRI images and visualizing them in 3D to make it more clearly for the doctors. Image segmentation is one of the most important tasks in medical image analysis and is often the first and the most critical step in many clinical applications. Scope of Project: Brain MRI image segmentation system development is the main goal of this project. Segmentation system will be developed by integrating and adapting current segmentation algorithm. To develop an efficient Technique for edge detection and extraction in brain MRI and 3D reconstruction for better visualization, this project will use image processing principles.
