I am a software developer by trade. For recreation (fun), I enjoy creating models in AutoCAD. Recently I decided to upgrade to SolidWorks. I am going through a series of videos to learn more about SolidWorks, but sometimes I run into questions. I would like to have a Solidworks expert that I can ask questions and receive answers, from time-to-time. Because I am a beginner, my questions are generally very simple. For example, my first three questions that I would like to start with, have to do with how to configure the UI to work in the same manner as the UI in the videos. For example, auto-rotating to the plane when I choose a plane to draw on. I would like to pay someone $5 for every Question/Answer chat session we have (questions should not be complicated, so Q&A sessions should *not* require more than 15 minutes chat). I propose buying 4 Q&A sessions each, pre-paying $20 for each set of 4 chats. This will be ongoing, as needed. Once I finish with training, I'm sure I'll continue to have many questions. NOTE: I'd like to chat through Google Chat (XMPP/Jabber) if possible. Freelancer is okay, but more difficult for me because it's by web page rather than native chat client. Good English skills may be important, to be able to understand my questions.

hello. i am expert for solid works and mechanical engineer so i can explain you everything you need about solid works. well, if you are interested, please contact me and we can make a deal. thank you. one more thing. if you want to learn Solid works on right way, i would need to explain you some stuff about manufacturing processes and stuff like that. because every feature in solid works is connected with real manufacturing conditions. so,for example. you can chose your working plane depending of part you are making. if you want to make cilinder for example. 50 mm diameter and 100 mm long, its best way that you chose right plane for sketch. reason is simple. that plane is normal on part axis when it is puted on turning CNC mashine and its easier to program macine on that way. :D

It is really a great program to use once you get used to it, I also did the switch from AutoCAD and Inventor to SOLIDWORKS. the 2D sketching is very different and honestly the hardest thing to learn.
