Hi, I'm Matt and can create this automating Windows solution for you. Relevant Skills and Experience 23 years an IT developer and system engineer. This task is relatively simple: creating a program that will start Excel, open the specified file, find Excel window instance, confirm changes and save. Proposed Milestones $270 USD - Automated Excel controlling script (as an application) Opening and saving several Excel files can be done - 2 options are possible: from a file list or custom folder. The first option means a predefined text file in a dedicated folder. In the file you would copy and paste paths to all Excel files you would like to change by schedule. The second option would be to copy and paste all desired Excel files into a predefined folder. This way the application would open all XLS(X) files in the folder and save them etc. The deliverable wil be the final application and simple instructions how to add running this application via Windows Scheduler service. hey - I have a lot of experience with this type of Excel automation project. I could get this done for quickly as well. I'd write a C# console program to automate Excel and open the sheet. the program would be triggered by a scheduled task. It would also have a config file so you could easily pass a path to a different spreadsheet. happy to discuss this on chat if you feel I'm a good fit for this project. thanks john

Hello I would like to work with you on your project. I will implement the program using C#.NET. The program will have a component to allow you to specify which files to be opened automatically at the same time (not simultaneously but one after the other), If you want to open them all at the same exact second, let me know. The other part will be the code that will actually invoke Excel in the background. To let the program start automatically at a given time there are 2 options.
