I have a django project that has a background script that basically:
1. Takes music audio mp3 files as input.
2. Creates a referencing system by separating beats in music using Aubio([login to view URL])
3. Converts music into strings of text.
4. Converts strings of text back into music files.
All the above tasks are done by calling their respective functions which are following
def create_referencing_system(files_list)
def music_to_text(file)
def text_to_music(string)
The script has been working fine as tested by my developer but its showing some errors in my system such as 'No such file' for my music files.
I want the developer to fix the errors that might come up and make it running. The project has been developed in full, the developer only needs to fix any errors that pop up.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is a full description of how my existing script works:
Models:
class Beat([login to view URL]):
file = [login to view URL](max_length=500)
class Stream([login to view URL]):
file = [login to view URL](max_length=500)
content = [login to view URL]()
type = [login to view URL](max_length=500)
Creating a referencing system
The following method is used to create a referencing system.
1. Take the all mp3 files, join them together and divide it into multiple mp3 files on beat basis.
2. Check each beat file if it matches any other beat file, if it does, eliminate the extra ones and keep only one.
2. From the resulting beat files, give each beat a numeral id and save it in Beat model with its id(pk) and file location.
Converting music to text
Now we have to convert each input stream into text using the referencing system.
1. Take an input music file.
2. Divide this music file on beat basis using aubio in same order as the original music file.
3. Using Aubio, read each beat music file and match the beat with the files in Beat model. Using it as a reference, convert music into a string of numbers (using id’s(pk’s) of beats).
4. Save the the string of numbers as a stream in Stream model.
Converting text to music
To convert a string of similar string of numbers back into music files.
1. Take each number in a string
2. Search for the file with the number as an id in the Beat model.
3. Join the music files in the same order to create a new music file.
Hi, I'm available to make this work. I offer seriousness, responsibility and good quality code.
My experience include use Python 2 and 3, web development with Django framework, Javascript, Linux, Git, Networking.
I have been working on various product involving python and django as tech stack and debugging and resolving production issues as well on time with various product companies , Will deep dive onto to this and will keep this resolved in time.
I've experience with Python and file handling so this should be a relatively simple fix.
I always recommend running python applications within a virtual environment using tools like virtualenv or pipenv. This ensures that dependencies are easily managed without impacting the rest of the system.
