Hybrid cloud consists of public cloud resources and on-premise data center resources. Based on the needs of organisation they use cloud resources along with their own data center. Mixture of on-premise and cloud resources known as hybrid cloud architecture. 2) What are the advantages of implementing a hybrid cloud architecture? It's scalable and flexible. If an organization needs resources for a fixed period of time then it's more suitable to use resources from cloud and use them with own local datacenter. When there is no need release those resources. This saves time and money to buy new servers and software. One can get resources from cloud on a short notice. 3) What are disadvantages? Some worloads are not fit for hybrid cloud, such as in case of applications require huge data storage. Then storing data at cloud and accessing it will cause latency. For orchestration and automation more tools and skills are required. 4) What is infrastructure as code? With IaC infrastructure is managed using descriptive model. No need to go to Google just from technological point of view. If can use a cloud, use can use another cloud - there is nothing new. Now you want to use both on an interface as if you are just using one, in beneath these are cross platform Hybrid cloud. So you can add you own home network in this cloud density. Now it is always preferable to use a Hybrid coz failure of anything (in any case) can be picked up by others. Answers for your questions: Hybrid Cloud - Hybrid cloud architecture is using any public cloud along with your company owned data center. Advantages: * You can extend your data center to cloud without modifiying your existing domain. * This will be helpful when you have existing resources directly from cloud. * Use the core cloud concept of scaling architecture. This enables to give services without any downtime or slowness even during peak load season. * Users and applications in data center can access resources from cloud and vice versa. Disadvantages: * Using Hybrid cloud will have additional cost in maintaining the base infrastructure which is actually duplicate to existing data center infrastructure. * Using Hybrid or public may not be easy when you have regulations on the data you have. Infra as Code: * Automation is key in creating and administering cloud resources. * Infrastructure as Code helps you to maintain all your infrastructure as Code with versions. * Versioning of Infra as Code helps you to maintain all the changes in infrastructure and helps in reverting changes in case of issues. Good Day. My name is Rishi and I have good experience in designing, implementing & troubleshooting solutions on MS Azure. I have gone through attached ref. architecture: You wish to host SAP application on Azure with DR in secondary region. Applications can be reached through on-premises network only, through express route. Server's in spoke network can be connected through jump server in hub network. DB's are placed in different sub-net for added security & are replicated to DR site through database replication. Application's are replicated to DR site through ASR. What about DNS routing in event of DR? I have worked on many services that will be useful for your project: VM's, availability sets, NSG's, Virtual network, VPN, SQL, ASR, AD. Answering your questions: 1. Hybrid Cloud architecture: Combines public and on-premises resources by allowing data and applications to be shared between them. 2. Advantages of implementing hybrid cloud: Offer new capabilities, features for existing on-premises server's. Example: Backup, DR in cloud. 3. Disadvantages: Cost and security can be disadvantages if resources are not set properly. 4.
