Software packaging to ask questions (based on open source)

ELEQ designs and manufactures smart electrotechnical applications for protecting, measuring and connecting electrical energy and works worldwide for renowned power companies, system builders and installers. Together with our clients we anticipate on the future and on required innovations. A work style that is extremely detail oriented and works hard. Job Description: Your responsibilities: ELEQ is looking for software (partly based on open source) which is able to provide information through type in or scan in a serial number of a product. Two possibilities for the customer should be integrated in the software: 1. Through login Visitor starts on page 1 (see attachment). When a visitor logs in once, the visitor is always logged in. The only thing the visitor needs to do now is scanning the serial number or type in the serial number. On this page the visitor can choose for a language (Dutch, German and English), company profile (with information concerning name, address, telephone number, email-address, company logo, fax number, user name, and password), phonebook (we should be able to change names, profile pictures and telephone numbers in the software), contact, or link to [login to view URL] The customer is logged in as "customer", were "customer" is linked to the name of the company. After scanning/type in a serial number the visitor lands on page 2. 2. Without login When a client scans his serial number (through QR code) the client arrives also on page 2 (but skips page 1) (see attachment). This page shows the serial number with a minimum of product information. Also the general picture of the product group is shown (when another product category is scanned another picture should be shown). The client can choose on this page for 'search again', 'download test report' (choice menu with: 'screenshot, paper print, e-mail or fax) or 'add serial number to the list' (the serial number will be added to the right block en the customer can search again). When the customer has found all serial numbers the customer should be able (through check mark the blocks) to download one test report for all those serial numbers. The visitor can choose for a screenshot, paper print, e-mail (to entered email address under company profile) or fax (to fax entered under company profile) of the test report belonging to the serial number. "You are logged in as "customer"" is not visible when customers are not logged in. The purpose of the software is to find the right test report by the requested serial number(s) and to request this test report in the desired form (email, print, screenshot, fax). The software should be a software which can be downloaded from our website. In addition, when the client opens the software, the customer should be asked to download the newest version. This is to make sure when we adapt changes, also the customer will see those changes. The software should be changeable by us concerning design issues and pictures.
