Hi: To gather the data basic groceries, I will look at the following websites: Bankrate, Inc, Numbeo and Expartisan. Additionally, I will also try to look for "Mercer's 2012 Cost of Living Survey" which includes ranking as well as price of consumer goods in 214 cities worldwide. Moreover, I will also conduct general secondary research to supplement any missing data or add any proxy data. To research the cost of dinner out (two adults, two children – two courses each and one bottle of house white), I will look at different travel and hotel websites that publish the price of meals for two. In case, the price is not directly available, I will define a basket (assume few dishes for each course after consulting with you) for the dinner and compute an average price. During my research, I will collect the address of all websites that I might have used for taking the data. Output: I will give the output in Excel as well as PowerPoint (PPT) format. Excel will contain the prices of all items that you asked for. PPT will have a one page profile of each city and will include information on geography, local culture, places to visit, airfare from your home city and any other relevant information that might help you navigate through the cities.
