I am in the food business and I am looking to build a structure for a new restaurant. Because of the cost effectiveness of the "Quonset" or arch type, prefab systems, I am leaning in this direction. But, I do not want it to look like the WWII Quonset huts or like a basic agriculture building used for storing hay or equipment. It needs to be striking in appearance while maintaining it's cost effectiveness.
If room on the property allows, I will grow my vegetables there rather than in my home garden, which will include a high tunnel greenhouse (same shape).
I would want the option of a side or end entrance. If it were the end, I would want the end wall to be recessed in by several feet so that overhang was visible. If a side entrance is chosen, there needs to be a arch roofing system that juts out making the entrance obvious and striking.
Eventually, we will design/plan the entire property as well as the inside. These are unsupported free span structures that may have as much as 50' of open space.
I am open to many different genres of food. Currently, I do wood fired pizza and that may be the entire new project or could be just a part of it (depending on the size of the building). If I can afford the larger structure, I would consider a "food hall" with several stations that would serve different genres of food (pizza, quesadillas, panini, breakfast, bakery, etc.).
Start with a design that would work in a 40' x 60' as well as a 50' x 100'.

This is the group I am currently speaking to about the structure itself. Most of their business is in utilitarian type structures. But, within reason, they can build what you design. This project is doable for them, but the design and designing is outside their core business, which is why I am here and talking to you. Alternately, you can Google "Quonset Hut Pictures" and see some designs.
I would love to see pictures of your previous designs.
Please do not hesitate to ask questions. I may not be giving you all the information you need.

Hello, I'm for many years on the architectural market and have built restaurants, cafes according to my projects.
I've also designed a swimming pool 130x65ft. covered by similar steel structure.
Relevant Skills and Experience
Knowledge of features related to the food typology buildings including planning, ergonomics, detailing, sanitary regulations, fire-protection solutions.
Techniques - 2D Autocad, 3DsMax+Vray renders.
Should I follow some regulations obligatory for the region of building?
12/06/2017 * I have updated milestones and price because of landscaping elements in general view (4-th milestone).
I would also recommend to pay more attention to planning and zonning because in case of HORECA design the building is a "glove" on functional process (technology).
I think we must create a "working" variant, not just a beautiful picture (but attractive exterior is also important).
Regards,
Pavel
Frankly, I feel you are attacking this concept in a manner that may not be attractive (quonset look) to customers. Please consider pre-fab construction which is all over the internet and attractive.

Once you make a decision on the exact visual look....than you design the project from the inside first. This is my opinion.
Proposed Milestones
$555 USD - Note my portfolio which relates to restaurant design.
