I need a script that
1. ssh to a remote machine
2. download a file
3. parse the file
4. update mysql with the data
file has 2 collums
I must be able to call by ip or by database name which can be cross reference for ip.
I can provide example script which does a very similar function, but copies a different file.
I'm Perl and Python developer that's why I'm sure you'll be impressed with my work.
I can create such program for you in less than a day and I can offer you best price here.
All I need to start is SSH access to your remote machine and database schema.
Thanks.

Hi,
I am a student who is good at coding in python.
This project can be done using scp library to connect to remote machine and download the file and can be opened using file open and parsed and can be connected to mysql database using mysqldb library we can update the database with the data.
If given the task to me I will finish it with perfection and submit it to you before deadline.

Will be done in Perl.
Filename and database can be arguments to the script.
ssh_config at both (client and server) hosts will decide if password authentication cam be skipped.
files for known_ hosts will be have to copied seprarately.
Been there, done that. A couple hours of work at most, especially with the script provided: it should be very simple to modify it to suit your purpose.
