I'm looking for someone who can write me a script in Excel to create a Daily Fantasy Sports MMA lineup. Here's how it works. Every fight (think UFC) you get a $50,000 salary cap. Each fight has an average of 12 fights, so 24 fighters. Each fighter is given a salary based on their odds of winning. You can only pick 6 fighters but you have to stay within the salary cap of $50,000. The salaries range from $6000 to $9600. Here are the rules: 1. Stay under the $50k salary cap 2. All lineups are unique 3. You cannot have two opponents fighting each other on the same card. Below is an example of what it could look like. I would be entering the fighters and the salaries, I just want to hit a button and it populates different lineups. Preferably highest salary cap to lowest salary cap maxing out at the most lineups possible.

I am assuming that you also want to maximize odds of your winning as well. So, this sounds like a linear optimization problem to me. Luckily, I have done several challenges like this. And I happen to be very good with excel as well. My idea will be to write a script, that’ll auto pick 6 fighters for you that’ll maximize your odds of winning, while staying under 50k cap. Will need formula for the salary though, to be calculated on odds. All you’ll need to do is: 1. Daily, Enter/update fighter name if it isn’t in the list. 2. Daily, Enter/update the odds of winning. 3. Hit “pick my fighter” button. For above - $166 Update statement- i re-read the example you had sent, looks like you just want a list/roster of fights.
