Sometimes when we are filming with a camera, a camera may run out of battery or fall on the ground and the video .mp4 is interrupted when the camera turns off. The result is a .DAT file. The file size is still very large, but it lacks the proper format and headers and din't get a chance to finalize. I need to build a script that someone adds header info, metadata, etc and converts to mp4 or is able to recover these files.
