I have lots of experience with App Engine and Django, including combining and migrating between the two. I also have experience exporting data with the App Engine Bulkloader and importing data with the Django APIs. I understand the challenges of transitioning between relational (MySQL) and non-relational (Big Table) databases. The transition itself shouldn't take too long. Most of my time will be ensuring that nothing is broken and that the new implementation works flawlessly.
