We are looking to build a simple in-house intranet platform based on Wordpress, we currently use Plesk with IIS to manage the internal hosting. It is preferable that you use free plugins and themes that already exist and help implement them by writing minimal code rather than developing everything by yourself. A very basic design will be provided so that we can decide placement of widgets. Users will be able to: - Define user profiles by logging in through Active Directory Users (LDAP) - Showcase work for the whole company to see (by drag and dropping server files, wordpress will automatically create thumbnails and link to the server file path) - Have a central dashboard that can display user Roles within the company, birthdays and upcoming events - Display project information - Display company information - Display a wiki-type company 'encyclopaedia' - Implement SLACK - Implement Airtable Bases (these can be embedded, but preferable if we can use the Airpress wordpress plugin in order to push data onto airtable also) This will be a tool to centralize a lot of information in the company.
