This RFP is intended to provide the scope of the work for the development of our "VoxIran Public Opinion Polling Visualization Platform" (hereinafter "VoxIran"). VoxIran is our databank of polls containing thousands of questions from hundreds of probability sample surveys continuously conducted since 2006 on a variety of topics. We want to make the results from the databank available to users through a subscription service. We hope that the extent of work we have dedicated to prepare this RFP and mock-ups, communicates to you the extent of our commitment to this project, and we hope you decide to join us in delivering it. Please read in detail all the attached documents and 55 Mock-up pages (higher quality mock-up images are available). We have provided a detailed job description, including detailed explanation and mock-ups of what we want, and expect a customized proposal with break downs of milestones, prices for each feature/module, and time it will take to create each feature/module and accomplish each milestone. As explained in the RFP, the scope of the work presented here is neither final nor fully refined. We expect you to provide us with your expert opinions to improve the requirements for the product. We, therefore, expect the scope of the work to become further refined and more detailed as the project moves forward. Please note that this RFP is the first step in a series of editions and products we intend to build for the polling industry. We hope our mutual experience building this edition, opens up further opportunities for our future engagement in creating more innovative tools and applications for the polling industry. Please feel free to recommend revisions both to the phasing and the tasks in any way that, in your expert opinion, would both improve the final product and make its production more efficient: Phase 1: • Backend public opinion polling database development, • Dynamic database structure, • Database search capability, • Data tabulation and cross-tabulation, • Search history database and statistics per user, • Usage history database and usage statistics per user, • Admin ability to upload and download different system databases, • Full install over cloud server, and test the throughput. Phase 2: • User Sign up and Log in, • Central Authentication Service (CAS) integration, • Forget password, email verification, and internal web app messaging service, • Multiple layers of access and subscription tiers, • User database, • Trending topics functionality, • Commission your poll database, • My Folder database, • Making every question and response option visible to search engines, • Admin panel for all features admin should have access to and control over, • Individual survey selling capability and customized access, Phase 3: • Frontend development, • Design implementation, • All required database visualizations, o Charts, o Maps. • Export to Excel, Word, and PDF, • Integrating google analytics, • Capability to post on social media outlets, • Test usability of front-end over desktop IE, Firefox, and Chrome, and Smartphone and Tablet (both iOS and Android).
