We are looking to produce a simple quoting system that would allow us to then convert the quote into a job ticket that once complete could create a file that we can then send to our book-keeper to invoice. We would looking for each quote to create a unique sequential number and each job ticket to have a unique sequential number also, these do not necessarily need to match but the quote number should be somewhere on the job ticket. I have created a PDF workflow attached showing how we hope it could work, the information on the right hand side is a nice to have but not necessary, if it was possible just to have a simple system which would allow us to search back previous costs and do the sums in the quote we would be more than happy with this. Please see attached PDF with sample quote layout and sample job ticket.
