Open Cart - very small issue regarding 'if' condition

Looking for someone who can fix this right away. Trying to make a script that will use a secondary product layout if the product id=693 1. I am trying to display a custom product template to a particular product (product id 693) I have created the [login to view URL] file and I am trying to process the following rule on the product controller [login to view URL] This doesnt work; //693 is the id of the product if($this->request->get['product_id'] == 693){ if (file_exists(DIR_TEMPLATE . $this->config->get('config_template') .
