Customizing and improving open source LoRaWAN server (we have a developers team working on it), building API's interfacing with our applications server, building drivers and other exciting Lora programming.
First job is to create Gateway control utilities which will
Update GATEWAY Software
Start/Stop Radio
Reboot the GATEWAY
Update radio configuration file
and other, like utilities. Gateways will be Tektelic, Multitech and other.
If you do not have direct Lora programming experience, this is not for you.
Following are additional tasks and in more details about what we need. At minimum, we need the following:
GATEWAY system level requirement
Update GATEWAY Software
The system shall support a remote method to instruct the GATEWAY to download and install the new GW Software.
Start/Stop Radio
The system shall support a remote method to stop/start the Uplink / downlink communication on the GATEWAY.
Reboot the GATEWAY
The system shall support a remote command to full operating system reboot.
Restart the Packet forwarder process
The system shall support a remote command to restart the Packet forwarder process. The command shall reload the radio configuration.
Update radio configuration file
The system shall support a method to remotely download and install the new radio configuration file and update it without reboot.
Log level
The system shall support a command to updates log level on the GATEWAY.
Backup configuration
The system shall support a backup configuration on the GATEWAY. When backup command issue the GATEWAY shall launch a backup of a current configuration.
CPU/RAM
The system shall report/display of the CPU /RAM and file system usage on the GATEWAY.
Time information
The system shall report the time sync information NTP or GPS on the GATEWAY.
Last restart
The system shall report the time of last software restart.
WAN backhaul
The system shall display all the WAN interfaces on the GATEWAY.
Antennas
The system shall report the antenna information on the GATEWAY
Software version
The system shall report the current software running on the GATEWAY.
Alarms
The system shall reports all the alarms on the GATEWAY.
Fail over
Network server instances failover
The GATEWAY Bridge shall configure with two network servers’ instances. The first configure network server instance shall use as a primary, the secondary one as secondary. At any time, the GATEWAY Bridge shall connect in priority to primary instance, and attempt connection to secondary instance only if the primary instance unreachable.
GATEWAY 4G/Ethernet interfaces failover
The Gateway packet forwarder shall implement 4G/Ethernet backhaul fail over mechanism. Ethernet shall use as primary interface.
NOTE: Apply only on the GW supports both 4G/Ethernet interfaces.

The output will be an executable utilities which will be forwarded to our developers for integration into our Lora server
