I use the Genesis Framework by Studiopress. Please only react if you have experience with Genesis. Please show me your experience in your comment. I use a default Genesis Childtheme ("Ambition" by Appfinite), but I want to convert my website to a business directory. I have already installed the following plugins: "Search & Filter", "Advanced Custom Fields", and "CPT UI". You should design and code new templates for a single listing, and the listing archive. I want to display custom fields (text, clickable url, etc.) on each single listing. I have some clear ideas on what it should look like, so I can guide you. You should explain and document every step you do, so I can add custom fields myself and show them on the frontend. I should be able to repeat it on my own.
