Convert current software into an automated script/program that will run when the user logs in. The parts of the software that we wanting to be automated are the gallery creation and uploading images into an Amazon bucket. The images will be in the PicturePerfectShots folder inside of the current users Pictures folder. They will be inside of timestamp name folders that we want to break up into separate events. The script will process the whole PicturePerfectShots folder and create galleries as it goes along. A gallery will be made for each event and if the folders of images are more than 8 hours apart, then we will consider them part of a new event. After uploading the gallery images, it will then move the folders into an Archive folder in the current users Pictures folder. The steps for the script should be as follows 1. Check if there is internet access and if there are pictures in the PicturePerfectShots folder 2. Make a list of the folders for an event • Each folder is the timestamp session for the set of images • There will be an example for the PicturePerfectShots folder structure 3. Post to a backend url to create a gallery entry into a database • Create a unique id • The unique id will be used as the loginName, displayName, and password post variables • The post will return JSON in the format of {‘added’:true|false,’galleryID’:ID|null} 4. If the gallery was created, then proceed to upload the images into the bucket 5. The images should be uploaded to the bucket as a full image, a large thumbnail and a smaller thumbnail. • There will be an example for the bucket folder structure included 6. After all the images are uploaded to the Amazon bucket, then move the images into the Archive folder 7. Check to see if there are more galleries to create and upload images for • Such as there are more folders in the list that were 8 hours or more apart 8. If there are more, then repeat from step 3 with the new image folders
