Main landing page/portal with links to 4 mini-sites. 1) Business directory 2) Job finder 3) Local Events 4) Classified Adverts The main landing page is simply to help the user choose which area they want to visit within the website. The Business directory is for local businesses only. The idea is, that its free to list your business with basic information, but for a premium you can have more options available such as, sponsored listing, priority above competition, window stickers to promote your business, image galleries etc. The Job Finder section will be broken into 2 sections. Section 1 will simply be a list from employers wanting to recruit staff. Section 2 will be from individuals wanting specific jobs done, i.e - Mrs Smith wants a kitchen to be fitted. Local Events will be a news style page with a calendar system for users to post upcoming local events to gain awareness and interest. Classified Adverts will be for users to post anything they have for sale as a classified advert, for free. If the user desires, their item can be promoted on the website for a premium which opens it up as a sponsored listing with more selling options. There is not a massive budget for the initial creation of this project but the successful developer will benefit from future development of this project after the website has launched. We will be taking further steps and launching an app for Android and iOS in the future, following a successful launch of the website.
