Adding dynamic description and titles to codeigniter page

I have a codeigniter page and all product pages are indexed in google with same description and title. I need to change the code to generate a dynamic title for each page from product name and also meta description. I guess it's not a hard job because the product name and description appears on each page from a mysql query. The project is online and in production so, the developer should access by ftp and make the job in local enviroment. I must see the results in my local before upload the modified files because I must make some 301 redirects for SEO purposes. Thank you
