Please see the detailed job description for more detailed information!
I have a Xbox 360 cheats website.
While the website runs on PHP and PostgreSQL, you may be able to do this job in PHP and MySQL. I am happy with that approach if you can do it that way and I guess MySQL is easier than PostgreSQL This project is basically about creating a script only so it should be fine, but you can tell me that.
The site uses the Smarty template system.
Message me for the site URL and any other info you think you need in order to bid (including what is not provided in the detailed description section further below). A summary of what I need is:
1. Generate a feed for all Xbox 360 games and their corresponding site URL.
2. Take feeds from other cheat websites and save them in a database with the game name and URL from the other cheat site and be linked to the corresponding game on my website.
3. Generate an outgoing link to 3rd party site's game page for each relevant game on my website.
There are examples in the detailed description below of how this needs to work for your understanding.
## Deliverables
I have a Xbox 360 cheats website.
While the website runs on PHP and PostgreSQL, you may be able to do this job in PHP and MySQL. I am happy with that approach if you can do it that way and I guess MySQL is easier than PostgreSQL This project is basically about creating a script only so it should be fine, but you can tell me that.

What I Need:
1. Generate a feed for all Xbox 360 games on my site along with their corresponding URL on my site.
I need a feed in this format [login to view URL], but from my website.
eg: "Halo3","Xbox 360","[login to view URL]" etc etc
2. Take the feeds from other cheat websites (note their feeds might contain other formats in addition to Xbox 360, eg PC and PS3, which I do not want) and save them into a database with the game name and URL from the other cheat site and be linked to the corresponding game on my website.
This part takes the feeds from other websites (eg [login to view URL]), grabs all the Xbox 360 related entries, matches the game names with the game names from my website and then saves each other site game URL with the relevant game in a database.
Bear in mind I will be working with several third party site feeds.
We will need to think about how the matching will work... the script might attempt to match the games based on the name, and if it can't find a direct match it will save them seperately for me to manually edit and move as needed later.
3. Generate an outgoing link to each 3rd party site's game page on the corresponding game page on my website.
This generates a link to, for example, the Halo 3 cheat page on CheatHappens ([login to view URL]) from the Halo 3 page on my website ([login to view URL]). It might also create a link to the Cheatfreak Halo 3 cheat page (eg [login to view URL])
On my site the following code renders the URL for a specific game page (I think this is the Smarty template system?):
a href="/{$GameDetail.game_url}/"
So for each third party link to the game page on another site, it could need to be something like:
a href="{$GameDetail.source1_url}/"
a href="{$GameDetail.source2_url}/"
etc
There will be multiple third party cheats source sites/feeds/sources.
For a working example of this, see all the links to other sites down the bottom of [login to view URL] (More Halo 3 Cheats...) and in the right column of [login to view URL] (Other Useful Links)
