Forget my original post, heres exactly what I need: I need a program, preferably a windows application that would run off a pc. What I need it to do is ask me for 2 variables. The 1st variable would be the length of the string on numbers. The 2nd variable would be the highest number I would like to use in the list it would generate. Based on the above, if I asked the program, to spit out a list of every single possible combination of a series of numbers, this is what it would generate. Lets assume the 1st variable would be 6, and the 2nd variable would be 28. Based on those 2 numbers I'd put in the application, it would generate the following list of numbers: 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 1 1 1 1 3 1 1 1 1 1 4 1 1 1 1 1 5 1 1 1 1 1 6 on and on and on, to: 1 1 1 1 1 28 1 1 1 1 2 1 1 1 1 1 2 2 1 1 1 1 2 3 1 1 1 1 2 4 1 1 1 1 2 5 1 1 1 1 2 6 on and on, to: 1 1 1 1 2 28 1 1 1 1 3 1 1 1 1 1 3 2 1 1 1 1 3 3 1 1 1 1 3 4 1 1 1 1 3 5 1 1 1 1 3 6 on and on, to: 1 1 1 1 3 28 1 1 1 1 4 1 1 1 1 1 4 2 1 1 1 1 4 3 1 1 1 1 4 4 1 1 1 1 4 5 1 1 1 1 4 6 and on and on and on until, the last possible combination, which would be: 28 28 28 28 28 28 Notice theres a space between each number? Thats how I need the output: 1 1 1 1 1 1 is different from: 11 11 11 11 11 11 The first uses ones, the second uses elevens, get it? I wont neccessarily need the program to remove duplicates. I can do this myself. I will need the program to dump the data to small .txt files, say 1000 lines of data per .txt This would be preferable too, because if the program froze, because of all the math it was doing, it would be great if I could enter the very last combination of numbers it last saved, so that it would start from where it left off, in case of a reboot or freeze, and it would not have to start from 1 1 1 1 1, etc. This would be especially nice, if I was 10% or more into a list generation. I hope this explains, without a shadow of a doubt, exactly what it is that I need. This isn't a hard concept, just really tough to explain in writing.
