194347 PHP Expert Customize Vivvo CMS

We have already installed Vivvo ([login to view URL]) and created a custom designed template for our site. Vivvo has the ability to post articles, comment on articles, search articles, organize categories, manage banner ads, and input streaming media. Please check out the live demonstration on their website, and see the administration back end. The short version: We need to put some information to a MySQL database using a simple PHP front end, and output this data using a CSS style that matches the website theme. The Vivvo article posting function can be used to "post" the data to the website. The long version: We need the ability to easily maintain a database of... 1) events (concerts, shows, special events, etc) 2) venues (restaurants, nightclubs, theater, halls, etc) 3) performers (singers, DJs, musicians, etc) ... and post these to the CMS with ability to include an image, details, Google map, features, and also allow users to post comments and ratings. For example admin will add the following to the database, using the Vivvo Admin panel: VENUE: Fluid Nightclub, Toronto PERFORMER: Snoop Dogg and the Dogg Pound EVENT: Snoop Dogg Live In Concert Toronto 2007 Then the admin can post the venue and performer directly to the website for people to see, comment, and rate. For the event he will be able to select the above mentioned VENUE, PERFORMER, and then input a DATE. DATE: October 31st, 2007 From the event listing he can click and drill down to the venue and performer listings to look at the comments and ratings. The new event, venue, or performer will each have a listing on the site, that is searchable by any criteria and by calendar (for events) since it will use Vivvo's existing framework (ie. post the item as an article, with matching CSS formatting). Also there should be a Google map for the venue (using Google Maps API), and users should be able to post comments about the items, and click to view/posts comments about the nightclub and performer each independently. Finally we need to maintain a database of DOCUMENTS (Word, PDF, ZIP) and provide a way for the CMS admin to easily upload the documents (multiple or single) and post them to a different searchable section of the site. This will probably also use the Vivvo article posting function, just adapted to our needs. This project needs to be started ASAP and completed in 1-2 weeks. We need daily progress report from the programmer. We need to agree on a fixed price, so please do some research first regarding what will be involved and what you are capable of.
