I currently maintain a few websites that all relate to technical theater and I'd like to combine them into one main site. THE CATCH: [login to view URL] is the number one return on google for searches "high school technical theater" and similar. I don't want to loose this ranking! However, I would like to do the following: 1. combining all of my sites into one. [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Each URL would go to one place under a "parent" of one of them. The home page would show a logo of sorts of each. I think [login to view URL] is the most "professional" sounding title. The other two could be "sponsored by" stageseminars. Therefor, links to them would be in the banner area at the top. ***Again, [login to view URL] should NOT loose the Google ranking. I also don't want to get blocked by Google for trying to do something "funny." 2. Install some sort of attendee enrollment add-on to my site. I run a seminar workshop everyone year and I would like to have an add-on to take care of people signing up. Taking payment via Paypal would be very nice. Otherwise, people would sign up and then print out the form and mail a check. The system should keep track and email me the sign up information. Having a reporting function, a confirmation email, etc... All that fun stuff. 3. The sites could certainly be jazzed up a bit. I'm working on a new logo. 4. The database for the [login to view URL] site is the most populated. The others are pretty small, maybe a dozen or two of records. These either need to be combine, or linked together. Very important: somehow, I must be able to list the articles to match the site they are from. The HSTech items are geared towards high school theater students. The stageseminars site is for upper level workshops. Bidders MUST know JOOMLA and keep the functionality that is currently there (or improve it.) YOU MUST INCLUDE EXAMPLES OF YOUR WORK... Links to current, live sites. Links or copies of print work as well please. Thanks, Scott
## Deliverables
Using third party add-ons is fine provided they are not too expensive for licensing. We will have to discuss. I prefer open source packages. They must function before final payment is issued. I like to work fast. I also like to work live via the chat function so that we can work on live updates. You'll see that I have very good feedback. I also tend to leave in-depth feedback regarding my working with my coders. YOU MUST INCLUDE EXAMPLES OF YOUR WORK... Links to current, live sites. Links or copies of print work as well please. All web code must be clear and compliant with current web practices. W3c? something like that. No frontpage. Logo must be original in nature. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
